POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Marketing Coordinator is to support the Marketing Manager with marketing initiatives, content development, managing the marketing content calendar, coordinating events, competitive analysis, and updating project management tools for the Marketing Department. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will contribute to digital content writing copy, graphic design, email marketing, and marketing campaign development.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Manage the marketing content calendar and update project management tools for Marketing Department
• Plan and manage events by coordinating requirements, developing schedules, and coordinating assignments
• Coordinate and assist with the creation of marketing materials
• Contribute to digital content development including writing copy, graphic design, and email marketing
• Assist Marketing Manager with conducting research to analyze market trends, customer behavior and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Perform marketing administrative duties
• Support sales and lead generation efforts

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including high proficiency in all MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to think critically, in order to develop and assess marketing materials
• Outstanding organization and administrative skills
• Active and familiar with all social media platforms: Facebook, IG, and LinkedIn
• Ability to demonstrate independent thinking as well as a teamwork approach to job responsibilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related equivalent of experience
• Experience with digital platforms and social media

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Position may require travel: Up to 10%
• Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
