Murray Resources is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Beaumont, TX

A manufacturing company in Beaumont is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team! The HR Manager will lead all HR functions, promote employee engagement, and ensure compliance.

Location: Beaumont, TX 77705 - ONSITE

Salary: $100,000-$120,000 Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment process and onboarding program to ensure a smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
  • Work closely with hiring manager to identify needs, create job descriptions, and throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage the full benefits process to include enrollments, terminations, and changes for Medical, Dental, Vision and ancillary plans.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Work with government agencies in the event of any announced/unannounced inspections or audits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • SHRM-CP a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of full cycle HR and benefits administration experience required.
  • HR experience within a manufacturing, distribution, production, or similar environment required
  • Spanish bilingual required (read, write, speak) strongly preferred
  • Must be available to work in the office Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00 and available to check in on different shifts as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
