Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join our team. As a Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and providing exceptional support to our employees. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will play a key role in promoting employee satisfaction and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
- Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit options to employees
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit-related transactions
- Maintain accurate employee records related to benefits administration
- Assist with employee orientation sessions to educate new hires on available benefits
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding leave of absence policies, including FMLA and workers' compensation
- Stay up-to-date with employment labor laws and regulations related to benefits administration
- Collaborate with HR team members on various employee relations initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations pertaining to benefits administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
