HUMAN RESOURCES

  • Assists HR Team in the administration of all company HR programs.
  • Assists HR Team in developing and implementing and keeping all HR policies, procedures, and practices updated and ensure they are implemented successfully at all levels to promote the viability of company programs.
  • Assists HR Team with special requirements of unionized locations and represented employees; handle grievance procedures, employee assessments, job evaluations, new employee orientation as well as supervisory training in eLe-specific policies/procedures.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and control of employee training, certification, and development records.
  • Conducts new contract phase-in/transitions.
  • Performs recruitment activities to include posting jobs, setting up interviews, tracking personnel requisitions and administering the offer process.
  • Administration of internal paperwork relative to organizational changes and personnel movement.
  • Administration of the new hire orientation process; to include keeping orientation documents updated; creating orientation Binders and paperwork to send to offsite locations.
  • Communicates with a geographically dispersed employee population having the ability to effectively answer benefits, policies/procedures and general questions and resolve problems both verbally and in written form.
  • Assembles and helps to maintain official personnel records and files.
  • Performs HRIS management and maintenance activities; designs and develops compliance reports.
  • Performs Benefits Administration duties to include administration of all benefit programs regarding New Hire enrollments, Open Enrollments, and changes.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and compliance programs (eVerify, EEO, OFCCP, AAP, ADA, DOL, FSLA, OSHA, etc.)
  • May be responsible for government reporting regulations for federal contractors (VETS100, EEO1, etc.)
  • Administration of company 401k Plans – Enrollments, Changes, Loan Processing, Audits, etc.
  • Assists and backs up other HR personnel in all duties to maintain stable workflow as needed.
  • Performs benefits invoice reconciliations.
  • Assist with various HR projects.

OPERATIONS

  • Serves as document controller for Quality Management System controlled documents.
  • Performs internal audits of Quality Management System processes.
  • Identifies workflow/system improvements, advises Operations Director on the appropriate courses of action, and works with management and the operations team to enact change.
  • Will develop customized reports for compliance reporting out of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) – UKG/UltiPro, and accounting system - ERP-GOV.

Minimum Requirements And Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with and understanding of the Service Contract Act (SCA) to include Health and Welfare preferred.
  • Previous experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced level in MS Excel preferred.
  • Self-starter – able to work independently.
  • Mathematical aptitude with good HRIS query skills.
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and prioritize work – must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Team-player – able to work and contribute positively as part of a team in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Occasional travel is required.
