Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients requiring intermediate care, utilizing their expertise in various medical areas.
Duties:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings.
- Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) preferred.
- Proficiency in occupational health, ICU, laboratory procedures, pain management, airway management, DME, and lift equipment.
- Knowledge of acute care practices, HIPAA regulations, and experience with pediatric patients.
