Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in various medical settings. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document patient medical history
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with IV insertion, phlebotomy, and other specialized procedures
- Provide specialized care for infants and pediatric patients in the PICU
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment in accordance with industry standards
- Assist with discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in NE
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting
- Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and other clinical skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and treatment modalities
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and make informed decisions
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
