Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring adherence to healthcare protocols and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience in care for various populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine
- Proficiency in case management and coordination of care
- Ability to provide compassionate care in assisted living or long-term care settings
- Familiarity with sonography and catheter care procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in PA
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
- CPR certification
