Like to travel? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Electrician Lead to join our client's team. As a Field Electrician, you will be responsible for supervising on-site field visits for the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities
Supervise on-site field visits for the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment and perform routine repairs.
Partner with customers to ensure excellent communication and service.
Ensure all new or modified installations of equipment and electrical components meet industry standards, company standards, and customer specifications.
Review performance reports and documentation from customers and inspect malfunctioning equipment.
Analyze inspection reports to determine the source of the problem and make repairs, replacements, or other corrective actions.
Coordinate problem resolutions with Field Service, Engineering, and other inter-company departments to expedite repairs.
Maintain records of reports and submit them to the Field Service Supervisor.
Provide recommendations to the Field Service Supervisor on recurring equipment problems noted in the field.
Lead employees within the field service department, directing employees’ work, providing for their safety, planning the work, determining techniques to be used, and apportioning the work among workers.
Carry out responsibilities following company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Demonstrate professional qualities when speaking with employees, whether in a one-on-one scenario or a group setting.
Plan, assign, and direct work, as well as resolve problems.
Requirements
Proven experience in supervising field installations and resolving technical issues.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work cooperatively with others and resolve problems efficiently.
Must demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
