We are currently seeking a Quality Control Weld Inspector for both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications, and procedures to verify compliance with requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies
• Record inspection results electronically to provide evidence of inspection, whether accepted or rejected
• Handle nonconforming products in accordance with established work instructions and quality system procedures
• Read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications
• Utilize weld inspection experience, with AWS D1.1 experience preferred
• Have a working knowledge of Nondestructive Examinations and Powder Coating
• Work closely with Manufacturing to ensure full compliance with Engineering requirements
• Conduct Mag Particle Inspection (preferred)
• Ensure regular attendance and punctuality, ability to work on-site and overtime
• Work cooperatively with others and deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management
• Perform multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with calibration of inspection and test equipment preferred
• Experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of weld inspector experience
