GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF EAST TEXAS INC is Hiring a Mission Services Manager Near Tyler, TX

The incumbent in this position will assist with the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and referrals for programs and activities related to the mission, core values, and ethics of the organization's various programs and services; provide supervisory and leadership service and support to all clinical staff (i.e. Work Adjustment Training (WAT), Placement, Pre-Vocation, Good Assist, Grants, Youth, etc.), Must cross- train to help continue services if Program Database Manager, Youth, WAT and ES coordinators are not in place. 

This position monitors and evaluates the work of all staff, as well as that of participating individuals or clients; this person will participate in the implementation of organizational policies regarding such issues as participant eligibility, program requirements, and program benefits; research and analyze member or community needs to determine program direction and goals. 

Prepare and maintain records and reports, such as budgets, personnel records, performance reviews, and training manuals. Establish and oversee administrative procedures to meet objectives set by senior management. Prepare and maintain CARF documentation requirements for Mission Services. 

Attend all training, meetings, and events as directed by the Mission Services Director. Manage Good Assist meetings and monitor ES and WAT meetings. Might be asked to be available some Saturdays for events. 

The ideal candidate in this position is experienced in the provision of and ability to administer services for non-government funded programs (TWC); able to establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in the community to meet organizational needs as well as that of the outlying communities, collaborating efforts were most beneficial; able to support the Director with managing day to day performance of all staff providing timely, consistent and action-oriented feedback that supports Goodwill's mission, value and guiding principles and delivering behavioral change for desired results. 

In addition, this individual will assist in planning and administering budgets for programs, equipment, and support services, creating revenue opportunities in exchange for services, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, or signing up staff, and providing overall accountability for the consistent and effective execution of all operational management. 

Confidentiality - Information between the Director and Mission Manager is discussed with high confidentiality and is not to be discussed with other employees unless otherwise noted. 

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time. 

Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments, and commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.; Completes tasks on time or notifies the Director with an alternate plan if unable too. 

Initiative - Volunteers readily; Undertakes self-development activities; Seeks increased responsibilities; Takes independent actions and calculated risks; Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; Asks for and offers help when needed. 

Innovation - Displays original thinking and creativity; Meets challenges with resourcefulness; Generates suggestions for improving work; Develops innovative approaches and ideas; Presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent and one year related management experience; a Bachelor's degree and two to four years of related management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
