About The Role:

Zeno Group is searching for a seasoned Vice President, Consumer to lead consumer brands in the areas of client service, new business, team development and management, and ensuring consistent excellence in the quality of work delivered to clients.

You’ll develop and drive integrated PR strategies and programs in our Consumer practice. You must be an expert in the areas of total account management including day-to-day account activity, traditional and emerging PR strategies, media strategy and the provision of sound creative and strategic counsel to clients to support their business objectives. In this role, you have the opportunity to support existing clients, and will also support to develop and present new business opportunities. You must think and do. We’re looking for masters of the craft, who are excellent people leaders and client counselors who will roll up their sleeves and stay close to the work.

Qualifications:

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination before start date. Candidates may request an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or an exception required under applicable law.
• Role requires minimum 2 days/week in our Los Angeles office.
• 8 years of consumer PR experience in an agency setting, preferably with CPG brand experience.
• A history of success in providing sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility and rapport with senior level client contacts.
• Budgeting, and day-to-day financial management for client programs.
• Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
• Extensive experience successfully overseeing 360 integrated brand programs, including product launches, equity campaigns, influencer/celebrity partnerships, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, the ability to “think on your feet” and respond quickly as business factors shift.
• Excellent writing skills and strong presentation skills with experience developing and delivering client presentations.
• Experience in drafting and presenting new business pitches.
• Proven leadership experience, mentoring, and developing junior talent.
• Strong earned media strategy experience.
