Position Summary
The Projects and Resource Coordinator oversees various aspects of project management within the organization, including planning and execution and volunteer supervision. They are responsible for managing in-kind donations, ensuring adequate stock levels, and collaborating with other teams to meet donation needs effectively. They also track and manage inventory across campus.
Essential Job functions
- Manage Operations project planning and execution.
- Supervise Operations project & in-kind donation volunteers.
- Manage inventory requests and provide regular inventory updates/communication with staff.
- Create and implement in-kind donation inventory tracking.
- Ensure donations across the campus are well stocked.
- Work with members of the Development and Domestic Violence Services team to create structure around in-kind donation needs and distribution.
- Oversee YWCA event set up.
- Provide an excellent experience for donors.
- Manage in-kind donation drop off and bookings calendar.
- Create volunteer opportunities and work with volunteer coordinator for support.

Qualifications
- Experience planning, executing, and overseeing projects from conception to completion.
- Skilled in assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and inclusive volunteer environment. Proficient in organizing and coordinating volunteer activities to achieve organizational objectives.
- Familiarity with inventory control principles and practices, including inventory tracking, stock rotation, and inventory optimization. Ability to assess inventory needs, monitor stock levels, and reorder supplies as necessary.
- Familiarity with event planning and coordination processes. Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
- An understanding of, and agreement with, YWCA Utah’s mission, values and philosophy regarding the elimination of racism, empowerment of women and commitment to anti-oppression work and social justice.
- Understanding and commitment to issues of cultural diversity and anti-racism.
- Ability to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, weekend and evening on call shifts are rare, but required.
- Proficiency with general office duties, computer systems and technology.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal communication, and public speaking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time, evaluate progress, and adjust activities to complete projects within established timeframe.
- Demonstrated experience functioning within multidisciplinary settings.

- If driving on business, a valid Utah driver’s license, access to an automobile, and valid auto insurance required.
Physical/Sensory Demands
Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit for long periods of time; use computer to enter data; use telephone to converse with customers and employees; walk and stand for long periods of time; perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement. Travel to attend conferences, training, outreach, and other events may occasionally occur. Rarely required to lift up to 40 lbs.
