We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting Management with ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Set up projects in accounting system & DADO.
- File on SCR.
- Enter new projects in SalesForce.
- Issue material/equipment PO’s.
- Execute subcontract agreements.
- Verify subcontractor billings/payments.
- Request bid bonds P&P bonds, consent of surety.
- Provide administrative support for construction PM’s and management.
- Create monthly project progress billings with SOV and enter corresponding billing in GP.
- Audit project folders for company compliance.
- Create pdf, and printed IOM manuals.
- Create project specific SOQ’s.
- Follow-up/collections for project billings
- Apply for building permits.
- Track subcontractor COI’s.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation for future reference and reporting purposes.
- Proven experience in a construction-related role, with a focus on project coordination or management. Preferably 5 years of construction experience.
- Previous Great Plains experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
