As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Senior Architect to join our team and drive the execution of critical projects across our brands.

About You

The Construction Project Manager will be instrumental in the Company's multi-Franchise growth plan across various geographies in the United States. The Construction Manager is responsible for the planning, design, and oversight of workflows for Franchisee locations and will oversee the construction process while collaborating closely with the Architectural team to establish the Project scope, budget and timeline with the General Contractor.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Real Estate and Architectural Team to establish build-out scope for all new Projects and perform any necessary site visits to determine the current condition of the space.
  • Assist in design coordination meetings and proactively engage in value engineering exercises with the Architect and General Contractor.
  • Facilitate the coordination of the building and signage permit.
  • Engage and interview General Contractors for specified Project while reviewing provided bids extensively.
  • Select the General Contractor and finalize the contract, Project timeline and budget.
  • Collaborate closely with Architect to review and approve any change order requests.
  • Manage all aspects of Project's budget including reviewing and approving all related-capital expenditure invoices.
  • Serve as a crucial connection between the Franchisee and General Contractor to ensure all aspects of the Project are ordered in accordance with the Project's schedule.
  • Oversee completion of each Project's punch list while coordinating across multiple departments to ensure smooth Grand Openings.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship across various departments in the Organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business-related field or Construction Management.
  • 3-5 years' experience working in Construction or other Development-related role.
  • Strong preference for Franchise experience and/or QSR construction experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, team building, collaboration, organization, and critical thinking skills.
  • Based in Salt Lake City with the ability to travel 30% of the time.
