Austin Top Rated Sales company, featuring a beautiful, state-of-the-art showroom in Austin, is currently seeking a Sales Administrative Associate to provide bookkeeping and sales assistance for their expanding business.

Summary of Role: The Sales Administrative Associate is responsible for supporting the Sales professionals by coordinating appointments, sales support, project submittals, quoting, and bookkeeping, and general office administration. This position reports to the Showroom Manager. (Please see the full job description below

General Overview & Reporting:

The Sales Administrative Associate is responsible for supporting the Sales professionals by coordinating appointments, sales support, project submittals, estimating, quoting, and general office administration. This position reports to the General Manager.

Duties & Areas of Responsibility:

  • The primary duties of the Sales Administrative Assistant consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Perform small business accounting functions
  • Coordinate & confirm showroom appointments with customers for the sales force
  • Support sales force with administrative tasks quotes, estimates, submittals, service, order accuracy, customer follow up, and tracking orders
  • Purchase supplies for office and showroom
  • Maintain office equipment & coordinate repairs/maintenance
  • Ensure showroom is clean & customer-ready at all times (close down at end of business)
  • Coordinate product returns with vendors & ensure credits/refunds are received
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors
  • Assist with customers in the showroom, as needed
  • Other duties, as assigned
Required Experience:

Candidates should have project coordination or sales support experience, preferably in a lighting, window or construction building trades environment.

  • Possess superb organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
  • Competent in MS Excel & Word
  • Polished & Professional

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales personnel and management with administrative tasks
  • Maintain showroom in customer-ready appearance at all times
  • Perform bookkeeping functions
  • As needed, provide customer assistance in showroom

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • 2 years admin./office experience, required
  • Showroom experience preferred
  • Demonstrate estimation skills
  • Outstanding customer service/support skills
  • Solid problem resolution abilities
  • Professional/polished appearance and demeanor
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel heavy)
  • Excellent interpersonal, and cooperative skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well both independently, and in team settings
  • Willingness to assist wherever needed
  • Design experience or education helpful
  • Some college preferred
