Job Description:

The Experienced Regional Property Manager will be responsible for

overseeing a portfolio of properties in Austin, Texas. They will directly

supervise, train, and lead a team of property managers and support

staff. This position will report to the Director of Property Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of 2000 units in Austin, Texas.
  • Hire, train, and supervise on-site property managers and support

staff.

  • Oversee and take responsibility for KPIs and performance

management.

  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure the highest

standards are maintained; evaluate maintenance, grounds, and

housekeeping operations in areas of efficiency. Conducts periodic

inspections of vacant apartments for market-ready condition.

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for each property in the

portfolio to achieve operational performance objectives.

  • Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

affecting property management.

  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain occupancy and

exceed financial goals.

  • Maintain open communication with tenants to ensure their

satisfaction and address any concerns. Responsible for resolving

resident issues and escalated complaints from residents.

  • Provide regular reports to senior management regarding

occupancy, staffing financial performance, and property

maintenance.

  • Work with legal and finance departments to mitigate damages.
Experience and Skills:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in business administration, real

estate, or related field and/or 10 years with progressive

experience in property management.

  • Strong understanding of the real estate market and local laws and

regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding financial goals and maintaining

occupancy levels.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively.
