Your Boat Club is growing, and we are currently seeking part-time, seasonal staff. There is the opportunity for advancement in these roles, as well as the potential for full-time, year-round employment for the right individual(s). This position is perfect for individuals working in education, college students, etc. This position is offered every summer, and we love returning employees!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle inbound/outbound calling, filter and route calls, and respond to emails and online inquiries.
Inputting customer information to book the type of rental the customer wants, including payments and billing information to process payments.
Booking boats, side x sides, snowmobiles, side x sides w/tracks & daily slips for our renters & club members.
Assisting customers with website navigation, instructing them on how to use our reservation system & providing information about our services, including our unlimited boat club memberships!
Work on various waitlists, systems reports, additional tasks, projects, or assignments may be added as the needs arise that will overall benefit the needs of the team and the company.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be a fast learner and have an aptitude for problem-solving.
Ability to multitask – shifts can be fast-paced depending on approaching holidays, weather, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Teams is a huge plus.
Working Conditions:
Your Boat Club is available to answer calls and respond to inquiries from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week during the boating season. We offer a flexible schedule and are willing to work with you. If you prefer weekend shifts, evening shifts for a few days, morning shifts, or other availability preferences, please let us know when applying. We can discuss your work schedule during the interview if we're interested in moving forward.
This position is work from home, and with that, we have specific requirements for a work from home setup:
You will need a secure and reliable internet connection, an internet-capable phone that allows for apps to be downloaded, a headset, and a computer in a private place such as a home office or room with a door that can close. Create a comfortable workspace to do your work with minimal background disruption.
For this work from home position, we have specific technology requirements to ensure the most efficient work process.
You will need a laptop or desktop computer with a second screen, which can be helpful but not mandatory. The computer should have an Intel 11th/12th generation i3 processor or higher or a 10th generation i5 processor or higher, with at least 8 GB of RAM or more.
You will also need a cell phone with internet and download capabilities.
To communicate effectively, you'll require a headset, headphones, or any other hands-free device so that you can talk and type simultaneously.
Lastly, a dependable internet service is essential.

Compensation:
This position starts at $15.00 an hour and will vary based on experience.

Our journey started in 2009 with only five boats by owners Luke Kujawa and Michael Jellish. Today, we boast over 40 locations across four states. Our services include memberships, daily rentals, full marina services, and, at some locations, bike, UTV, and snowmobile rentals. Our main objective is to keep our existing members happy by providing them with exceptional service, superb boats, and great availability. Annually, we hire seasonal help at various locations and seek to hire individuals who we believe will be "A" type employees: always friendly, professional, adaptable, and possess great customer service skills.
