YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF BOISE IDAHO INC is Hiring an Administrative Technician - Micron Early Learning Center Near Boise, ID

The Treasure Valley Family YMCA is seeking an Early Learning Center Director for a new Childcare Center in Boise, Idaho. Micron Technology, Inc. will be opening this Early Learning Center this year and the center will be operated by the Treasure Valley Family YMCA and will provide STEM-based programming. The center is located across from Micron’s corporate headquarters and marks the company’s progress towards plans to address the need for high-quality, affordable childcare.

The Administrative Technician is responsible for managing enrollment, children’s schedules and parent billing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages enrollment, children’s schedules and parent billing processes.
  • Manages accounting databases and generate various reports as assigned.
  • Functions as a point person in handling and resolving parent concerns and informs supervisor.
  • Uses direction and independent judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ensures all enrollment and accounting information is organized and stored meeting all policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for following established procedures to ensure position relationship with program partners.
  • Collaborates with program partner to ensure accurate participant billing and record keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience with customer service and scheduling preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year working with children preferred.
  • Must be able to engage others in conversations and make all people feel welcome.
  • Ability to respond calmly and quickly to safety and emergency situations.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position at 40 hours weekly. Schedule requirements are Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
