Yoga Flow SF & Mountain Lotus Yoga is Hiring a Graphics and Communications Assistant Near San Francisco, CA

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Graphics and Communications Assistant to play a key role in shaping the brand's online presence and marketing strategies for two yoga studio businesses.

As the Graphics and Communications Assistant, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of digital marketing, graphics, content creation; including project management, graphic design using tools like Canva, newsletter creation, social media posting, and content development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, graphic design, content creation, copy editing along with the ability to work on tight deadlines, both independently and collaboratively.

Graphics and Communications Assistant Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Manage various graphics and digital media projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the teams to gather project details, and ensure alignment with marketing and design requirements.
  • Maintain organized notes, project tracking and documentation to ensure all deliverables and timelines are met.

Graphic Design

  • Create graphics and marketing materials using established templates in Canva.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce compelling visuals that resonate with our target audience.

Newsletter Creation

  • Build, schedule, and send newsletters weekly from multiple locations.
  • Using existing templates and graphic assets, build brand-aligned newsletters.
  • Manage content development in collaboration with the marketing team ahead of time to ensure the timely review process and delivery of each newsletter.

Social Media Posting

  • Build out the social media content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Working from the content calendar, develop, and schedule posts.
  • Using existing templates, develop content for social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.

Google Drive Management

  • Organize and maintain marketing assets, documents, and resources on Google Drive.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure easy access and retrieval of relevant files.

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with familiarity in copy editing.
  • Proficient in graphic design using tools like Canva or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with online communication channels and social media platforms.
  • Ability to develop compelling and creative marketing content.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, clear and concise communication.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Prior experience with Mindbody Online, Google Suite, and Eventbrite is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
