What You Will Be Doing: 

As a member of IT, you will work closely with the team, business liaisons, business analysts and other IT staff as needed for requirements gathering, understanding business priorities, and execute given tasks. You should be able to work strongly with others and have a team-first attitude. Additional responsibilities include design, development, and testing of Microsoft Power BI reports ensuring optimization, functionality, and a consistent look and feel of all of Yancey’s reporting needs.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users and programming personnel in the analysis, design, testing, and maintenance of applications to ensure optimal system performance operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
• Trains users and supports training in the usage of applications.
• Performs unit and integration testing and troubleshoots problems.
• Well-versed in all things related to Microsoft Power BI
• Development: Data Models, ETL and OLAP Cubes. Design and Deploy Dimensional Data Models. Create Integration Services packages, scripts, and other elements to move data from source systems into the data warehouse.
• Work in collaboration with the organization to understand business issues, identify new valuable areas of analysis and develop reports that analyze data warehouse information to support effective rapid decision-making.
• Develop and deploy reports/interactive data visualizations using various tools including Power BI, SSRS, Excel and SharePoint.
• Support and maintain existing reports and requests made by users.
• Enhance BI experience through Power BI or other automation tools.
• Reporting services that the business community can leverage for self-service analysis.
• Conduct informal training sessions that foster a solid understanding within the business community of both the ad-hoc reporting models and reports published through the reporting dashboards.

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. 
• Additional duties as assigned by manager. 

Who We Are Looking For: 

To be successful in this position you should have strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities. You should demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. A working knowledge of project management is required for this position as well.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BI developer with Microsoft Power BI
