Xin Chao is a modern Vietnamese restaurant from Chefs Christine Ha, winner of MasterChef season 3 and chef/owner of The Blind Goat, and Tony J. Nguyen, chef/owner of Saigon House. We are looking for enthusiastic line cooks to join our young and vibrant team!
Our Line Cooks have to maintain the highest of standards by executing recipes exactly as trained and ensuring consistent presentation and taste. You must possess a strong team player mentality and come to work with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory (FIFO), prepare for service, clean & organize the kitchen
- Execute dishes during service.
- Perform tasks assigned by Chef team
- Attend training and team meetings
Requirements
- 1 years of experience as a Line cook
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Asian restaurant experience or a strong desire to learn Asian cuisine
