OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING! One of our clients is currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist to fill a temporary position.
This is a full time, M-F position. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Associate Human Resources Generalist provides HR support to plant and sales employees in a variety of locations.
This role assists the HR Manager and other generalists on assigned projects by providing professional support in functional areas of Human Resources including benefits administration, employee relations, performance and recruitment.
Coordinates parts of the employee life cycle including new hire processes, termination and benefit calculation using HRIS system and a variety of vendor websites.
This person will have limited expertise in three or more functional HR areas such as recruitment, FMLA / leave management, ADA, employee relations and benefits administration.
They will often act as first point of contact to an employee related to HR processes / policy. Requirements : 2 year degree AA, bachelor’s degree preferred in HR or Industrial Relations PHR or SHRM CP certification preferred 3 years related HR support Experience 1 year payroll experience Professional interpersonal skills, verbal / written communication and computer skills Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to handle highly confidential information excellent organization, administrative and creative problem solving skills Must be able to interface with employees on all shifts Eligible to work in an ITAR environment Travel up to 15% This role is needing to be filled IMMEDIATELY!
