Description
The Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort is searching for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. Our resort has multiple outlets to oversee and manage. This includes developing, supervising and coaching team members to ensure the highest levels of product quality and guest service standards are achieved.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities
• Greet beach patrons and answer any questions they may have
• Provide chairs, umbrellas, and other beach equipment to beach patrons
• Assist patrons with setting up beach equipment
• Monitor beach for safety hazards and potential hazards
• Ensure beachgoers follow safety rules and regulations
• Collect and dispose of trash from beach
• Report any hazardous conditions to beach managers
• Ensure beach area is clean and tidy
• Provide first aid when needed
• Assist with other beach related activities as needed
Job Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
• Good problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use basic hand tools (e.g., rakes, shovels)
• Basic knowledge of beach maintenance
• Basic knowledge of beach safety
