World Harvest Church is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Canal Winchester, OH

World Harvest Church has a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Coordinator. This role will support human resources functions within three separate entities including a church, school and college. We are looking for a HR Coordinator to provide HR Support to the Director of Human Resources in a variety of different areas within HR including benefit enrollment, recruiting, HR compliance, employee engagement and employee relations.

Position is located in Canal Winchester, OH.

Essential Functions:

Answer questions regarding policies and state/federal HR compliance and regulations

Guides employees through various HR processes including recruiting, benefit enrollment and work study

Responsible for benefit administration including processing new hire benefits, employee benefit changes and open enrollment

Assists with reporting including EEO, 1095 and IPEDS

Answers payroll questions and support payroll process

Responsible for completing new employee paperwork and new hire orientation

Assists with recruiting process including reviewing resumes, inform applicants of position details including working conditions, benefits and duties, conduct references and background checks as needed and phone screens

Responds to inquiries and provides guidance in the completion of new hire and existing employee paperwork; explains HR policy and procedures.

Assists in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for human resources employment records.

Posts positions on various recruiting sites

Manages background check file review and audit process

Assists with recruiting efforts as needed including job fairs, social media, community outreach and support

Assists with HR audits as needed

Manages file maintenance, audit and review process

Manages electronic file maintenance

Assists with development of auditing reports including HR compliance, benefits and recruiting

Assists Supervisors with assessing employee engagement and evaluation

Assists HR with administrative tasks as needed

Assists Human Resources Department with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Degree preferred, but significant HR experience may offset requirement.

Minimum of 1 year experience in Human Resources

Experience with benefit enrollment, state and federal HR policies preferred
