Required:
* Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university AND 2-4 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
* Computer skills, adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software
* Works collaboratively in a team environment
* Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with members and coworkers, including communicating effectively and remaining calm and courteous under pressure
Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting with the contractual requirements and federal and state government reporting and regulations in support of the Compliance Plan. This includes performing internal audits, action plans and reporting/scorecards of organization performance and risk assessments. This position will also maintain the deliverables calendar and upload and manage delivery of all documents to regulatory agency.
Duties Include:
* Maintains and monitors the compliance program for the organization
* Maintains and monitors compliance with policies and procedures, contractual requirements, and state and federal regulations
* Drafts and revises policies and procedures for the Compliance Department and audits all policies and procedures for appropriate annual review for the organization
* Maintains relationships and coordinates with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to ensure timely state deliverable submissions
* Creates and monitors corrective action plans
* Conducts ongoing regulatory reviews, including CFR, OAR and ORS
* Coordinates the preparation and execution of annual compliance strategy and plans
* Develops and delivers regulatory and policy and procedures training both internally and for external delegates and subcontractors
* Develops project, monitoring, and work plans related to policies, procedures, and training and performs monitoring consistent with the plan
* Reviews materials submitted including policies, sample files, program documentation and other materials relevant to the work and monitoring plans
* Communicates and collaborates with internal departments and external parties to accomplish compliance program goals
* Completes state reporting
* Collects and maintains conflict of interest information and reports to Chief Compliance Officer
* Prepares Compliance Committee materials
* Maintains annual calendar of state deliverables
* Develops and maintains compliance scorecards for internal and external use
* Stays current with regulatory requirement through review of periodicals, compliance association newsletters and review of state and federal regulatory agency websites, publications and contracts
* Maintains confidentiality and complies with HIPAA rules and regulations
