Mobile service provides effortless and worry-free maintenance for guests and fleet businesses. We are looking for a dynamic, guest service focused Mobile Service Manager to step in and grow this innovative and exciting service. We currently have 7 state-of-the-art mobile service vans fully equipped with everything required to take technicians to the guest for maintenance, light repair, and some recalls.

Responsibilities
The Mobile Service Manager is responsible for all facets of the Mobile Service business including but not limited to:
  • Understanding the Mobile Service financial model, the KPls and the actions that drive KPls
    • Specifically, RO count, average parts and labor sales dollars per RO, total parts, and labor dollar sales
  • Ability to develop and implement actions to positively impact KPls
  • Ability to create monthly performance forecast, utilizing the financial model, setting goals for each KPI
  • Monitor KPls daily and respond as needed
  • Manage and monitor individual Technician MPI completion percentage, additional RO sales and customer pay
  • Assure proper repair order and MPI documentation, signature, all warranty requirements such as stories and clocking, parts retention and sign off etc.
  • Aggressively grow Mobile Service business with ULTIMATE goal of 100-125 ROs per month per unit
  • Develop Mobile-Friendly menu and distribute to all Coordinators, Service Advisors and department personnel
  • Test all new recalls for Mobile Service feasibility
  • Monitor daily Technician activity and performance
  • Identify the most lucrative revenue opportunities - execute multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Perform outside sales/ business development calls for "wholesale recalls" at competing Dealers and used car lots, as well as on-site visits to fleet accounts to maintain existing relationships and call on additional fleet accounts to conquest new business
  • Define clear expectations and provide relevant training for each role
    • Ensure team members know and understand expectations
    • Ensure team members complete training and implement lessons
  • Create competitive pay plans, monitor effectiveness, provide wages commensurate to training and skills acquired
  • Enact a leadership style that encourages trust in you as a leader and develops trust among your team
  • Conduct training sessions, write and present performance evaluations, conduct one-on-one sessions, and plan and implement career paths for team members
  • Recruit, interview, train, motivate, coach, counsel, and monitor performance and production of team members

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Minimum 4 years of Service Advisor experience 
  • Minimum 2 years of Service Technician experience
  • Significant experience, education, or training in marketing and business management
  • Experience, education, or training in building and managing an effective and cohesive team
  • Demonstrated track record analyzing, identifying, and developing solutions to problems that impact the customer
  • Integrity and honesty are absolute requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, including track record as an effective active listener
  • Effectively model and reinforce company Core Values and Mission Statement
  • Ability to type and utilize all functions of a computer and various operating programs
  • Efficiency using Microsoft Suite Programs such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
