Join a team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization activities for an enterprise document storage solution supporting mission-critical enterprise functions. The application provides the ability to capture document images and metadata for record keeping purposes.

The candidate must be a strong developer that can adapt to commercial-off-the-shelf products, acquire a deep understanding of the subject matter expertise, be a self-starter that can determine requirements without external management, and collaborate in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities of this role require maintaining and enhancing complex operational software systems, interacting with Government project leadership and other developers on the team on priorities, developing task estimates, and providing input to Government roadmaps.
• Other activities include conducting upgrades, debugging existing software and correcting defects; integrating existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments; investigating and analyzing user problems and identifying potential solutions. 
• We are looking for a candidate who is familiar with agile methodologies and can work effectively within an agile development environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities are essential. 

Qualifications

Required Education & Years of Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Sixteen (16) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills

• Understanding of Windows server environment.
• Willingness to embrace challenges and seek to become an expert in the products.
• Experience with COTs integration.
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
• Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software.
• Experience closely collaborating with the Government customer.
• Must be willing to attend Hyland Perceptive Content Administrator training.

Desired Skills

• Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS. 
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira.
• Experience with Perceptive Content or any content management or workflow management suite.
