JOB SUMMARY

We are in search of a full-time, in-office Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Pella Windows and Doors. As a crucial team member, your primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries via phone, email, and occasional walk-ins, with a key duty being to understand customer concerns and propose effective solutions. The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Coordinator role is a dependable performer with a people-first attitude, demonstrating a track record of delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. You excel in building rapport and fostering a team-oriented environment. Your professional, conscientious, and thorough approach, coupled with a high attention to detail, sets you apart. You have the ability to adapt to effectively work in ambiguous or changing situations, managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and focus.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving customer technical issues by obtaining information, identifying the problem and providing technical assistance.
  • Providing information about our products and services.
  • Generating quotes for parts and labor, and scheduling appropriate service visits.
  • Documenting and updating customer records based on interactions within the Pella systems.
  • Continually developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
  • Prioritizing tasks by level of urgency.
  • Maintaining an energetic level of communication with internal and external customers.
  • Monitoring customer events and taking action to collect outstanding balances. 

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or similar field.
  • Solid computer skills Microsoft Office

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain a high level of technical skill, using software and information technology to accomplish your work, along with the proven ability to use research tools and resources.
  • Troubleshooting skills, analyzing information to understand issues, identify options and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to effectively and consistently communicate with your team and our customers.
  • Ability to learn new Pella products and diagnose issues.
