JOB SUMMARY

Pella of Denver & Northern Colorado is seeking a Trade Sales Representative for the Longmont, Loveland, Ft. Collins area who will be responsible for building the Pella brand within the trade industry as their premier choice for window and door solutions, achieving individual sales goals through a relational selling model throughout all active Pella product offerings, providing well-rounded solutions, market expertise, and partnership by understanding customer needs and developing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, professional remodelers and trade organizations.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain both a sales and operational success focus, as well as being driven by a strong focus on customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Strive to build strong customer relationships by engaging in a consultative sales approach to recommend the products, total solutions and consistent follow up that satisfy the needs of the customer.
  • Educate customers on manufacturer installation guidelines and measuring of openings to ensure accuracy of product ordering and applications.
  • Accurately complete, and submit in a timely manner, all documentation necessary to ensure product can be ordered and scheduled for delivery by estimating delivery dates based on knowledge of company’s production and delivery schedules, setting realistic expectations with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (construction background, industry experience, related sales experience)
  • The ability to develop business strategies that lead to a presentation of opportunities and solutions to a prospective customer.
  • Individual’s motor vehicle record must also comply with company requirements. 

Requirements:

  • Team player, a self-starter, detail oriented, organized, possess strong interpersonal and project management skills, and high mechanical aptitude. 
  • Knowledge of general construction application and terminology and/or window and door applications.
  • Required to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be prepared to travel as required by the job.
