Primary Position

Supports the daily shift operations of Housekeeping and Laundry. Ensures property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. Manage all facets of the Housekeeping Department ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supporting Housekeeping Operations and Budgets
• Supervises Housekeeping Staff
• Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner.
• Liaison between Hotel Management and Corporate on all HR, Payroll, and Operational matters
• Supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
• Understands the impact of department's operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
• Ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
• Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding and successful results.
• Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
• Schedules employees to business demands and for tracks employee time and attendance.

Skills and Abilities: 

• Analyze and interpret policies established by administrators.
• Understand the government regulations covering business operations.
• Make business decisions based on production reports and similar facts.
• Bilingual; must speak fluent English and Spanish

This position requires a hands-on approach (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and handle objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance). You will be on your feet and moving with purpose (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time).
