An established and reputable logistics company in Metairie is seeking a Logistics - Customer Service Representative to work in one of their departments. This company works with international clients. Full benefits are offered including health, dental, vision, paid-time-off, life insurance, short/long term disability, 401k with a match, and paid holidays. Salary range for this position is between $18 and $21 an hour, depending on experience.
Duties of the Logistics Customer Service Rep include but are not limited to:
- Answer phone calls an make outbound calls to clients
- Receive instructions for each assigned client Enter client information into database
- Work with customs and assist with paperwork regarding cargo
- Issue instructions for container pickups
- Receive updates from operations on process of pickups
- Review invoice information and send to
- accounting
- Track and trace other shipments
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or High School Diploma required.
