Wheeler Staffing Partners is Hiring a Human resource assistant Near Salem, OR

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an HR Assistant for a fully onsite role for our client in Salem, OR. The HR Admin will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing employee experience.

This position involves coordinating new hire orientation, setting up laptops and other necessary equipment, addressing HR issues, and performing various administrative assistant duties.

Job Responsibilities :

  • and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
  • and distribute new hire packets and documentation.
  • new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • up laptops, email accounts, and other necessary tools for new employees.
  • with the IT department to resolve any technical issues.
  • inventory of company equipment and supplies.
  • employee queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws.
  • administrative support to the HR department and other senior staff.
  • and coordinate meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
  • and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.

Job Requirements :

  • degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • year of experience with HR-related functions or a related role
  • in the healthcare industry, particularly home health or hospice care, is a plus
  • in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • interpersonal and communication skills.
  • to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • be able to commute onsite daily
