Responsibilities

· Cook in-house preparations according to recipes; dream up and realize new items; help conceive the menu based on food trends, food costs, customer requests, and seasonal availability

· Perform final dish preparation, including remarkable plating and imaginative garnishes

· Assist with discovering and preparing a unique offering of breads and pastry

· Organize the BOH like a well olive-oiled machine; optimize inventory by applying FEFO best practices

· Thoughtfully order food, manage inventory, and liaise with vendors

· Overachieve Health Department certifications with pride

· Other duties as requested; duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice; demonstrate humility and teamwork by helping keep the bathrooms clean and disposing of trash

· This is a full-time position covering mainly regular lunch and dinner shifts

· You are that rare individual who not only is a creative genius, but also is highly organized to handle BOH leadership, including being capable of meeting challenging ingredient and labor cost goals

· Overflowing with energy, naturally happy, positive, and optimistic, you genuinely enjoy the company of other people; your flexibility and willingness to perform in a dynamic environment makes you a natural leader

· You have enjoyed five years of related experience, hold a high school diploma or equivalent and a Texas Food Manager certification

· You can carry up to 50lb over short distances
