What you'll do:

As the Juris Banking Product and Technology Manager, you'll be responsible at the divisional level for the oversight and management of the Product and Technology team. Leading a team of dynamic product and technology application professionals combined with a vision of continuous improvement and process transformation.
The team is responsible for providing the client and operational service support for our products and technology services. This includes complex Treasury Management product training and support, Product implementation, training and support, and management along with Product and IT partners. The team is comprised of subject matter experts for the various integrated products and services that serve our commercial clients.
The role will equally focus on ensuring that the respective responsibilities are adequately staffed and consistently meeting business goals and timeframes necessary to successfully manage the needs of shareholders and our clients.
The role will work closely with the respective Deposit and TM Onboarding management, business systems and operations management and relationship management teams to provide streamlined servicing to internal and external clients. on product and process change and the required resources needed to implement and support these initiatives successfully.
Throughout transformation, the role will continue to build up our current core resource strength, ensure teams are well-trained, roles and responsibilities are clearly articulated, and the necessary tools are available for the team to be effective.

What we are looking for:

  • Responsible for leading a dynamic team of Product and Technology analysts and leaders while closely managing our internal product and technology performance expectations. Assesses needs of department and related roles / responsibilities and skill sets required.Provides supervision to and directs the activities of their staff; performs supervisory tasks such as performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment; develops work schedules; provides necessary training and coaching.
  • Monitors and reports to Juris Banking Product and Technology Director on team performance, client service performance and other KPI's.
  • Hires key talent and coaches Team Leads, Analysts and Supervisors to effectively perform in their roles and ensure a productive, transparent, and healthy environment. Provides insights and communicates to team on a regular basis. Anticipates future resource needs and plans accordingly.
  • Provides technical support and assistance to Leads and/or Client Service Advisors helping to troubleshoot and determines how and when to escalate issues; ensures staff perform their activities in compliance with bank policies and procedures, and that documentation and recordkeeping is accurately and properly maintained. In addition, provides technical and operational expertise on enterprise projects and is a source of expertise for internal partners. As needed, may work directly with clients at the lines request.
  • Actively pursues processing improvements to improve our efficiency and ability to scale. Drives projects and initiatives necessary to improve our execution and ensure expense control. Routinely participates in leadership calls and cross organizational work teams. Keeps abreast of new payment technologies and applications and their implications for the assigned area.
  • Works to develop a strong understanding and relationship between Product and IT business partners and ensure they are meeting expectations on service performance and oversee results. Partner with key stakeholders to deliver enhanced products and deliver the appropriate technical support and ensure alignment and transparency on service levels and overall role expectations.
  • Ensure operational procedures are continually updated to reflect the current environment and are geared to improve both employee and client experience as well as to ensure appropriate process risk controls are documented and effectively managed.
  • Stay abreast of key business initiatives including corporate strategy, technology initiatives, digital plans, etc.
  • Develop deep understanding of how our technology is tied together (networks, systems, vendors) and the role/responsibilities that each team plays in assuring our business can function at a high level of consistency and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 7 years of direct, related experience with Lending and/or Deposit Sales
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit onboarding/operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences.
