The Business Development Director will assist in the design, plan, and implementation of programs designed to advance the marketing plans and services of the hospital.

Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) provides psychiatric stabilization diagnosis treatments for Children, Adolescents and Adult populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our goal is to ensure patients and their loved ones feel comfortable and are well informed regarding treatment options.

We are conveniently located in Westborough near the intersection of Route 495 and Route 9. The hospital operates 24/7 with multiple shifts available.

Essential Duties:

• Assists in identifying and evaluating new services and programs for Inpatient and Outpatient Services.
• Assists in researching and gathering information and materials to develop public relations, marketing and other hospital communication projects.
• Assists in planning, organizing and conducting various internal and external activities for Inpatient and Outpatient Services such as facility tours, health fairs, open houses, networking events, etc.
• Updates WBHH website with relevant information
• Provides weekly reports and statistics to supervisor

• Develops and implements public relations/marketing programs, promotions and internal/external communications. Serves as liaison with the hospital's public (physicians and their office staff; community residents, schools, churches and civic groups; area employers; legislators; other health-care and human -service providers; and media)

• Builds a constituency of support for the hospital and facilitates the hospital's ability to meet the public's needs. Additionally seeks collaborative opportunities to improve the quality of life of residents within the hospital's service area

• Prepares strategic plans on a quarterly basis.
• Demonstrates effective use of the SALES process with existing and prospective referral sources.
• Successfully meets sales team standards, including mix of scheduled appointments, cold calling, follow-ups, and discharge information drop-offs.
• Maintains the data base system associated with sales activities.
• Actively supports the Inpatient and Outpatient ongoing referral communication and development program.
• Maintains positive working relationships within the industry and with other key agents of the company.
• Supports the hospital and department financial goals.
