Wells Fargo is Hiring a Senior Business Execution Consultant - Supplier Enablement - Ariba Near CHARLOTTE, NC

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant who will be immediately responsible for execution related to expanding our supplier footprint using the Ariba platform. This is a 2023-2025 Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategic project with a goal to onboard ~1200 suppliers over the next one to two years with annualized spend of approximately $4B.

The role’s focus will be leading the execution of this objective by partnering with various players across Supply Chain Management (SCM) including Strategic Sourcing, Global Buy Team, Accounts Payable, Supplier Enablement, Enabling Capabilities as well as our LOB stakeholders and impacted external suppliers.

This role will lead all related change management and communication strategy activities, and partner with the Global Buy Team and the Strategy and Transformation Office.

In this role, you will:

  • Drafting and issuing targeted and timely communications as well as leading proactive change management and awareness sessions with the business and suppliers.
  • Responsible to track and report out activities to key resources in Procure to Pay (P2P) as well as develop executive level dashboard reporting.
  • Look for opportunities to improve through leading lessons learned workshops with key team members.
  • Expert with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing and the SAP Business Network (functionality Subject Matter Expert and experience with onboarding suppliers is key)
  • Proven experience delivering large corporate level initiatives with SAP Ariba.
  • Lead change management, communications, and training experience which is critical with an open mindset to look at ways of doing things with various lenses.
  • Focus on revisiting our initial deployment strategy and expecting the candidate to look at other ways to speed up the deployment with ideas to create operational efficiencies, or new ways to improve our end user experience (for Line of Businesses or Suppliers.)
  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partner.
  • Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Business Execution, implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3 years of procurement and supply chain management experience
  • 2 years of change management experience
  • 2 years of experience working with vendor software, technologies and tools that are enterprise solutions
  • 2 years of process improvement experience
  • 3 years of experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
  • 4 years of account or project management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • SAP Ariba Buyer & Invoicing experience
  • SAP Ariba Business Network experience
  • Supplier Onboarding experience
  • Change Management, Training and Communications experience, with an emphasis on leading large Corporate level initiatives with internal business stakeholder and external supplier facing impacts
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with key partners and stakeholders
  • Ownership mentality with an ability to design and drive successful execution of priorities
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing skills and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines, interact with all levels of an organization and manage initiatives involving process improvements
  • Solid creative and strategic thinking skills
  • 3 years of experience creating executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports using advanced visualization tools
  • The position offers a hybrid work schedule of three (3)-days a week in the office and two (2)-days a week remote inclusive of holidays and vacation days counting as days in the office
