About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Control Management Specialist supporting Wholesale Lending Operations as a part of our Commerical Banking Control Management Group.
In this role, you will:- Successfully complete first time RAU execution in partnership with mentor for 1 Risk Assessable Units (RAUs) assigned with quality throughout the full lifecycle.
- Assist mentor for risk identification, risk measures, control identification/design and ratings applicable to the assigned RAUs in partnership with the RAU Owner within the business for trigger events.
- Assist mentor proactively manage all risk management activities association to the RAU (i.e. issues, OREs, process change, etc.) assigned to ensure program and control requirements are met and adhered too by the business owner.
- Assist in crafting corrective actions for issues and proactively monitor progress on issues by identifying interim milestone dates, gathering evidence once the date has passed and testing timely to avoid issue extensions.
- Become the risk and control subject matter expertise on the service models assigned and underlying L4 processes as well as risks and controls noted in the RAU.
- Integrate yourself in all necessary business routines to ensure your knowledge of the processes is sufficient.
- Adhere to deadlines and escalate early for guidance on prioritization.
Required Qualifications, US:- 2 years of Risk Management or Financial Services industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Knowledge and understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessment concepts
- Familiarity with risk types, methodologies, and frameworks for evaluating or testing controls and assessing results, conducting research, and identifying control deficiencies
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
