Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Duties:
- Perform general accounting tasks, including account analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., PeopleSoft) to manage financial data

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification is preferred
- Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., SOX)
- Experience with financial auditing processes
- Knowledge of governmental accounting is a plus
- Understanding of private equity transactions is desirable
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
