SUMMARY
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for executing engineering design projects to provide reliable and cost-effective solutions by developing new tools or sustain the existing tools and products for downhole applications in the oil and gas industry. The product lines include Wellbore Departure, Well Abandonment, Thru Tubing and Fishing.
The Engineer’s responsibility will be performing tasks such as conceiving and implementing design improvements, feature enhancements and size additions in a timely manner, as requested by the product line management to support sustaining and continuous growth. This includes producing engineering CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations and conducting analyses, and validating the designs with lab tests, when needed. Additionally, the Engineer will lead/assist in product troubleshooting and support manufacturing and field-testing activities, as required.
