Job Summary:
CNPC USA is actively seeking creative, innovative, best-in-class experts to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with down-hole tool development experience. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will perform engineering duties within the established product development process following industry standards and best practices, conduct calculations for engineering problems and material selection.
This position reports to the R&D Manager of drilling products.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field; with minimum ten years of related experience in down-hole tool development
Legally authorized to work in the United States of America
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Travel:
This position may require international and domestic travel. Travel between all CNPC USA locations and testing facilities is required.
