This position is responsible for instruction students in the Music classroom. Creating a positive and enriching learning environment where students can learn music theory, instruments, singing, and develop a love for all types of music.
Duties:

• Planning the curriculum and instruction of music classes
• Create positive educational climate for students to learn in
• Participate in ongoing training sessions
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures
• Monitor and evaluate student progress
• Prepare educational records and reports
• Sponsor student related groups and activities as assigned
• Extra-duty activities as assigned

Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a teaching certification. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License.
Salary and Benefits: Salary range is $39000-$52300 per year depending on education, years of teaching experience, and professional development credits.
