This position is responsible for instruction students in the Art classroom. Creating a positive and enriching learning environment where students can learn art history, creation, critique, and develop a love for all types of art.
Duties:

• Planning the curriculum and instruction of art classes
• Create positive educational climate for students to learn in
• Participate in ongoing training sessions
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures
• Monitor and evaluate student progress
• Prepare educational records and reports
• Sponsor student related groups and activities as assigned
• Extra-duty activities as assigned

Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with a teaching certification. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching License.
Salary and Benefits: Salary range is $39,000-$52,300 per year depending on education, years of teaching experience, and professional development credits. The district provides health insurance benefits including dental and vision, PERA retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability, an optional supplemental 401(k) plan, an employee assistance plan, and the ability to enroll in supplemental insurances and savings accounts through a third-party vendor.
