Position Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruiting Coordinator must work safely and productively in an office setting. A successful candidate in this role must be highly motivated and willing to complete any task assigned, along with performing the essential duties of the Recruiting Coordinator position. All employees are expected to communicate, build relationships with other team members, and always use good judgment. The Recruiting Coordinator is expected to have the ability to perform all duties of the positions preceding it in its specific career path, while being responsible and accountable to complete any other tasks assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring Manager and or Recruiting Specialist for interviewing. Provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
  • Ensures all paperwork is complete and accurate for those candidates accepting contingent offers.
  • Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presents hiring information and reports from the ATS
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
  • Performs all assigned tasks, responsibilities, and related work processes in the safest possible manner, always ensuring that a safe, accident/incident-free work environment is maintained for all coworkers, clients, suppliers, etc. at all times.

  • Processes Rehires through previous managers, HR Record and rehire checklists

Position Requirements
  • Associates degree in business / business management; or minimum five years of relevant Human Resources experience preferred
  • Minimum three years’ administrative support experience preferred
  • At least one year of HR assistant or recruiting assistant experience required
  • Applicant tracking systems knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Spanish Bi-Lingual preferred
  • HRIS experience preferred.
  • Experience with ViewPoint preferred.

Working Conditions

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.
  • Periodically the position will be required to visit various project sites.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid Driver’s License - Required
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification – Required; training provided by Wayne Brothers
  • PHR (Professional Human Resources Certificate) - Preferred
