Washington Hall is Hiring a Barback Near Chicago, IL
Washington Hall, (formerly Urbanspace) is under new Leadership and aggressively moving toward full occupancy of 16 Vendors, an extensive Bar Renovation, and strategic Marketing, Catering, and Service initiatives! We are looking to add the following immediate position to our Team:
Bar Back – Full Time / Hourly rate of $20/hour
*This is a non-tipped position. Done correctly, you will be considered for promotion to Bartender in 3-4 months, reporting to our Bar Coordinator.
Ideal Candidate has 2-3 years’ experience as a Bar Back or Server Assistant, a basic knowledge of Spirits, Cocktails, Wine, and Beer. Must have great interpersonal & communication skills. Assist with prep, Bar setup & restock, end of shift cleaning. No late nights, no Sundays! Shifts start approx. 1pm & end approx. 8pm until Spring hours extend to 9pm. Learn the ropes and move up when the new 60-seat Bar opens this summer! You MUST send a cover letter to be considered. Thank you!
