Salary: $7,286.00 - $9,799.00 Monthly

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a closely related field;

AND 8 years of IT business analysis experience gathering requirements, designing, building, and deploying enterprise applications, translating business needs into technical specifications, and working on complex workflows;
OR a combination of education and experience equivalent.

  • Experience in SDLC (software development lifecycle), Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, and/or (COTS) Commercial-off-the-shelf applications.

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR) is on the lookout for an IT Business Analyst Senior/Specialist. This pivotal role is your chance to leverage advanced business analysis skills and product and program management expertise to drive meaningful initiatives.

As the driving force behind the analysis and deployment of technology solutions, you’ll take the lead on projects from end to end. Your responsibilities will span from gathering intricate business requirements to evaluating cutting-edge technology solutions and guiding their integration across the organization. Your input will be crucial in projects that might range from developing digital tools for environmental monitoring to creating systems that enhance resource management efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,432.00 - $117,588.00 per year
