Walker Tape is hiring an Product Marketing Manager to join our team!

The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the VP of Marketing and Business Development. The Product Marketing Manager leads the B2B Marketing team, responsible for capturing market share in the industry. This role develops repeatable systems, processes, standards and initiatives to consistently drive revenue from our product offering. Responsible for creating marketing objectives, promotions, or initiatives including go to market strategies for new product launches, and proving ROI. Responsibilities also include coordinating internal and external contributors and collaborating with leaders to establish budgets, schedules, and project requirements. This role requires extensive experience in product marketing and management.

What are the Responsibilities? (But not limited to)

  • Lead and manage a team of designers and writers. Provide clear direction, mentorship, and feedback to ensure the team's output is intentional towards driving revenue and in line with the company vision/goals and objectives
  • Owns the creative vision, and voice for all in-house brands
  • Develop and communicate an intentional 1 year plan for departmental projects, campaigns, and brand identity. Ensure that all work aligns with organizational targets
  • Create formal, thought-out proposals to pass directly to the executive team for approval
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of marketing programs, and ensures team’s activities correlate with company vision/goals/objectives
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve the best return on company time and resources
  • Work with the Senior Product Analyst to create strategies for 1-2 years out
  • Maintain a high standard of quality, accuracy, and creativity across all creative assets. Review and approve artwork, designs, and visual materials to ensure they meet brand guidelines and project requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations. Apply this knowledge to continuously enhance creative strategies and outputs
  • Communicates and collaborates with external product testers and industry experts to improve products, services, and relationships
  • Strategizes and executes tradeshow involvement, objectives, and deliverables
  • Demonstrate and advocate company core values

  • Bachelor’s degree or on the job training and/or experience within the assigned industry or parallel role.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds at a time.
