Do you have a knack for leadership? Do you like being out in the field in middle of the construction chaos – planning, organizing, directing, leading, and actually witnessing the day-to-day work being put in to build structures that everyone is going to see, use, live, and visit? If this sounds like your type of job, W.M. Schlosser Company wants you managing our Government Construction projects.

Job responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Government Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Government Construction in Baltimore, MD to supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

Key qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in Government Construction
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • Extensive Government construction knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Solid working knowledge of computer programs, including Word, Excel, Foxit PDF, Procore and Outlook
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities, forecast upcoming work,
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn as well as a willingness to teach
  • Equally as important, you will keep not only the project on track but the team as well. Motivate and develop the junior team members. Train and develop utilizing on-the-job and internal training opportunities

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
