About the Role
This position will assist in prospecting and setting appointments in a fast-paced and challenging environment. If they are successful after a period of time, they may be offered a Sales Agent position.
Description of Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, and a drive to succeed. The candidate will ensure excellent customer service and establish new sales opportunities in an exciting environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Conduct high-volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media.
· Answer incoming calls and emails from prospects, clients, and sales agents.
· Evaluate calls to personalize each interaction by determining the appropriate conversation/talk track to follow.
· Evaluate the appropriate distribution of leads based on established criteria.
· Ensures accurate documentation, coding, and distribution of leads.
· Add qualified leads to the CRM to ensure account follow-ups and active quoting opportunities.
· Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Agents and Leadership to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies.
· Set appointments for Sales Agents.
· Identifies opportunities for upselling/cross-selling based on prospect responses to questions.
· Coordinate with sales agents to respond quickly to customer needs, requests, and problems.
· Tracks, follows, and documents dashboard assignments daily.
Skills and Abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Previous sales experience or a strong desire to begin a sales career.
· Strong work ethic and a desire to meet and exceed goals.
· Willingness to continually learn about the insurance industry and our customers.
Employment Experience Qualification
Minimum
· 0 to 1 year of related customer service or sales experience.
Preferred
· Two or more years of related sales experience.
· Insurance experience a plus.
Educational Qualification Requirements
Minimum
· Highschool Diploma
Preferred
· Bachelors degree in sales or a similar field.
· Drive to get a Property and Casualty License.
Work Environment
This position worked in a fast-paced office environment. It will require the ability to sit for extended periods and handle long periods of screen time and repetitive keyboard functions. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
