Job Description

Vox Marketing Group is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for SMB and mid-market to join our team. A Sales Development Rep will find potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales reps for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, confident on the phone, passionate about Sales Development and able to take on challenges head on while solving problems quickly.

Requirements:

  • Generate prospecting lists of decision-makers in target accounts using compliant and accurate contact data.
  • Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, networking with ideal-fit customers.
  • Schedule software demos.
  • Follow up, engage, and qualify prospects who have inquired about our software.
  • Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects.
  • Research your prospect’s coworkers to find other stakeholders.
  • Use LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Salesloft intelligence to improve processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Build trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.inquired

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent SaaS SDR Experience.
  • Outgoing, dynamic personality.
  • Can-do attitude that loves to be challenged.
  • Metrics-oriented and organized, with a strong need to win.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding metrics.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to facilitate a presentation or a one-to-one meeting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with management, operations, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent time-management skills in a self-paced work environment.
  • Team Player.
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, Hours are 8:30 am – 5 pm.
  • Starting Salary: 45-50k plus commission.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent. College preferred.
  • At least 6 months’ experience in sales developing.
