Volvo Cars of Austin is part of an Austin area automotive dealership group looking for an Accounting Billing Specialist to join our team. This position will assist our current accounting staff as we grow with specialization in sales contract review and posting. We are a locally owned and operated dealership dedicated to providing great service to our continuously growing customer base. An energetic, multi-tasker with great communication skills is an ideal candidate for this position which will help support multiple dealerships.

Job Duties of the Account Billing Specialist include:

• Verify down payment amounts, coding, copying and forwarding to Receivables
• Pull inventory jackets and match to sold deal jackets
• Review/verify required sales documentation and signatures are there
• Print and reconcile schedule inquiry of sold vehicles
• Work with Finance and Insurance departments on adjustments and ‘we-owes’ to reconcile with accounting schedule
• Post vehicle deals to Accounting software (Reynolds & Reynolds DMS) – match gross profits and commissions
• Teardown deals and ensure contracts are copied to lenders, title documents are given to Title Clerk and documents are filed according to dealer procedures
• Respond to lender inquiries for additional information or documentation on vehicle deals
• Additional clerical tasks, as needed

Job Requirements of the Accounting Billing Specialist include:

• Automotive Accounts Payable, Receivable, Titling or Billing Experience (2 years)
• Cash handling experience
• Great communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Detail oriented
• Reynolds & Reynolds or ADP software experience a strong plus

This position is hourly based with working hours of Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Perspective candidates must have Automotive accounting experience. Additional automotive Dealer experience, especially with Reynolds and Reynolds software, is a plus.
